Specifics on Our PC DVR Cards
We exculsively use GEOVISION card for our PC DVR cards, as they are the most efficient and reliable DVR cards. GEOVISION makes exclent cards that have lifetime warrenties, so you can trust that they will not burn out (a common occurance)! GEOVISION uses H.264 compression which is the best video compression around. Although a DVR card essenially turns your PC into a DVR, it is wise to not install the card on your the computer you use everyday. The computer you use daily has much higher security risks and other potential problems that can bring down your security system. We always suggest placing our DVR cards into a secondary computer, if that seems like a daunting task, our enginers will gladly build a custom pc based dvr for you. A RealTime DVR Card is Significantly Better
To build a DVR out of your computer, we whole-heartedly suggest a Realtime recording DVR card. Realtime recording displays the video as it is captured, which means that you can monitor it with a viewing quality similar to watching television. We currently carry four channel DVR cards, an eight channel DVR cards, and a sixteen channel DVR cards. All of our DVR cards render 30 frames per second per channel. There are other DVR cards that do not offer realtime recording, but these cards are generally useless! You might be able to record video, but if you can only see it after the fact, you are putting your security at risk! GEOVISION is one of the only companies that offers realtime DVR cards and the only one that puts an emphasis on quality. We offer security cameras, DVRs, and accessories from multiple companies, but we only offer one type of DVR Card. Don't buy any other brand; the quality just isn't there!
