About 4 Camera DVRs
Most 4 channel DVRs are standalone DVRs. Most 4 channel DVRs are easy to setup and maintain. As you might imagine, 4 Camera DVRs can support up to 4 security cameras. If you have more than 4 security cameras or anticipate getting more than 4 security cameras in the future, you should probably move up to an 8 Camera DVR unit.
4 Channel DVRs are very similar to VCRs or the types of digital video recorders that are often sold (or distributed by your cable or satilite company) for use recording television. 4 Camera DVRs are our lightest Digital Video Recorders, so if you are looking for some sort of mobile solution, 4 Camera DVRs are often your best fit.
It's not a mistake that many of our models look the same, as many units have the same exterior but different processors or hard drive capacities under the hood.
